TheorySprout ("the app") is a music-theory practice app. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. In short: TheorySprout does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
None. The app has no user accounts, no login, and no analytics or tracking. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail, and the app does not send your data to us or to any third party.
To make the app work, some information is saved locally on your device only (using the operating system's standard app storage). This includes your practice records and scores, daily-streak progress, best results, and your app settings such as theme and sound preferences. This data never leaves your device, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your practice records in the app or by deleting the app.
TheorySprout offers an optional auto-renewing subscription. All payments and subscription management are handled directly by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
TheorySprout is suitable for all ages and is designed to be safe for children. Because the app does not collect any personal information, it does not knowingly collect data from children or anyone else.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
